1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using SOS Domains ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SOS Domains provides domain name registration, transfer, and management services. We act as an intermediary between customers and domain registrars.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Domain Registration

4.1 Registration Process: Domain registration is subject to availability and approval by the respective registry. Registration is not guaranteed until confirmed by both SOS Domains and the registry.

4.2 Registration Period: Domains are registered for the period you select (typically 1-10 years). You are responsible for renewing your domain before expiration.

4.3 Auto-Renewal: Unless you disable auto-renewal, domains will automatically renew at the current renewal rate. We will attempt to charge your payment method on file.

5. Domain Transfers

• Domains must be unlocked at the current registrar
• You must provide a valid authorization (EPP) code
• Domains must be at least 60 days old (ICANN requirement)
• Transfers include a 1-year extension to the domain's expiration date
• Transfer fees are non-refundable

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1 Pricing: All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes where required.

6.2 Payment: Payment is required at the time of registration or transfer. We accept major credit cards processed securely through Square.

6.3 Refund Policy: Due to the instant nature of domain registration and registry rules, domain registration and transfer fees are non-refundable. Renewal fees may be refunded within 5 days of auto-renewal if the domain has not been used.

7. Domain Ownership and Control

You retain full ownership and control of domains registered through our service. We do not claim any ownership rights to your domain names.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use domains registered through our service for:

• Illegal activities or content
• Spam, phishing, or malware distribution
• Copyright or trademark infringement
• Harassment, abuse, or threats
• Any activity that violates ICANN policies or registry rules

9. Domain Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate domains that:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Are used for prohibited activities
• Have unpaid fees
• Are subject to legal disputes or court orders

10. Limitation of Liability

SOS Domains shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SOS Domains from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of domains registered through our service or violation of these terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of New Brunswick, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
